About this Event

Join us for “The Long and the Short of It,” a live storytelling show and open mic on Thursday, May 20th at 7pm at Angelo’s GET THE ADDRESS FROM WALTER. This is an interactive show where tellers share 10-minute stories (long) and the audience helps them tell it in 6 words (short). $12 in advance/$15 at the door.

This month’s show features storyteller/comedians Joey Novick and Joey Rinaldi.

Joey Novick has been a political comedian, camp counselor, editorial director, attorney, busboy, radio show host, professional speaker, child actor and an elected official in New Jersey – but not necessarily in that order. His solo show, “Comedian Elected to Town Council in New Jersey” was nominated for Best Comedy Performance at the Capital Fringe Festival.

Joey Rinaldi is known best as a long-form personal storytelling comedian who shamelessly shares embarrassing tales from his life. In 2019 he transformed all of his most cringey stories into a one-man show called “Story Time with Joey Rinaldi.” It won at the 2020 Frigid Fest in New York, and Best Stand-Up Performance (recorded) at The Canadian International Film Festival.
